If an employee you supervise is transitioning out of the company or moving to a new reporting relationship, it’s important to follow the applicable offboarding process.

Termination or resignation

When one of your employees terminates or resigns from a position, you need to perform a number of tasks to ensure a smooth exit transition, including updating their status in Workday. All employees will be deprovisioned automatically of basic privileges upon termination, including access to Acme online systems.

Redeployment or supervisor change

  • Move an employee to a different cost center
  • Transfer an employee to a different manager or operating company
  • Change an employee’s location (country, city)
